The Amelia Academy Family is proud to recognize Frank Shanaberger as Coach of the Year for the VCC! We are so proud of you!
Mr. Grizzard and Mr. Rakestraw wish to thank the players and coaches of the Varsity Girls Basketball team for bestowing on them the prestigious award of honorary team members. This award is indeed an esteemed honor and will be treasured by both educators for a lifetime. Go Big Blue!

Attention Teachers & Students the Global Market will be today from 9 – 12.
Lower School Teachers: today is the last day for resources.
Thursday’s lunch menu: Instead of Mac – N – Cheese; Tator Tots will be served. Friday’s lunch Menu will be Pizza.
Pre – K and K will be in the gym from 1:45 – 3:00 to practice their graduations Tuesday – Friday this week.
Teachers and Students: Don’t forget to collect clothes for Amelia Academy Boosters Club. The pickup date will be today. The winning class and the teacher will be rewarded with a prize!
All JV and Varsity Volleyball players and managers wanting to attend camp this summer must return forms and deposits by today.
All files on the computers in the Library and Computer Lab will be deleted next week. If there is anything on these computers you wish to keep, please copy the files to a flash drive by Friday, May 18.

Splish, Splash, we’re not taking a bath … BUT, we will be using lots of water. Come see the fun water activities, like toe fishing, “sponge sit”, plumbing, and car washing, Pre – K, K, 1 and 2 will be doing on Splash Day, Thurs, May 17th from 11:00am – 2pm!
Tickets are on sale in the front office for “The Decade of Winners” celebration at Amelia County High School Gymnasium on May 19th, at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $10.00 each. There will not be any tickets sold at the door.
The End of the Year Picnic sponsored by the Boosters Club will be May 22nd at 5pm. The picnic is held at Taylor and Pam Harvie’s home. Everyone is to bring a side dish to share. The main dish and drinks will be provided. Call the school for more information.
Teachers: There will be a sign up sheet in the front office for our end of the year gathering on Wed, May 23.
