Amelia Academy to Host Book Fair Event,
October 21-Novmeber 2
Amelia Academy will host a Scholastic Book Fair from Friday, October 21 through Tuesday, November 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Funds raised will help purchase non-fiction books for the media center. Families, faculty, and the community are invited to attend this fun reading event, which is themed: "To the Book Fair and Beyond!"
The Book Fair will feature a special Grandparent’s Day Lunch on Monday, October 24 and a Community/Homeschooler’s Day on Friday, October 28, and Tuesday, November 1, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Book Fair will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and extended hours on Tuesday, October 25, until 6:30 p.m. An online book fair is available Friday, October 21, through Thursday, November 10, via the school Web site and the library link of www.ameliaacademy.com.
The Book Fair offers specially priced books and educational products, including children’s classics, award-winning titles, new releases and other great reads from more than 100 publishers.
Book Fair customers may help the school build classroom libraries and improve children’s reading skills by purchasing books through the Classroom Wish List and One for Books programs.
